iBienvenidos!smiley

This coming school year - 2019-2020 - you will be studying about Spanish Speaking countries, learning new vocabulary, and new grammar concepts!  I look forward to meeting each of you on Monday, August 13 and I look forward to an amazing school year together.

it is my policy to return the tests we take weekly after all students have make up the test.

I update this webpage for communication purposes but make sure yhou also check your child's agenda. It will lead you to this week's homework, classword and monthly calendar.

At times your child may not finish his/her in-class work in a timely manner.  If this happens, the in-class assignment will then become homework for that day and will be due the following school day.

The homework assignments listed weekly on the webpage are not set in stone-I may add/delete assignments at a moment's notice.

For 7th grade students, all homework must be done on the workbook or their required 5 Star Spanish notebook neatly written, and always in pencil, unless otherwise specified.

" I am the decisive element in the classroom. It’s my personal approach that creates the climate. It’s my daily mood that makes the weather. As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child’s life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated and a child humanized or dehumanized.”
